    The accusations against Cuomo were simply startling when they were revealed to the world in 2020. At that point, these were not the only scandals surrounding the 56th governor. In addition to sexual harassment allegations, Cuomo was criticized for how he was handling the COVID-19 pandemic in New York. He was accused of underestimating the number of deaths in nursing homes and of intimidating local officials who disagreed with his policies. Apart from these controversies, Cuomo was also involved in several other high-profile cases during his administration, disputes with the Moreland Commission, the Buffalo Billion scandal and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
